Adult & Teen
Effective June 15, 2018, safe environment training to serve in ministry for adult volunteers and employees of the Diocese of Fort Worth will be live and in person (“face-to-face”).
The required safe environment training will no longer be offered “online” in the Diocese of Fort Worth.
Anyone whose current Safe Environment certification expires on or before June 15, 2018 should contact their parish/school Safe Environment Champion (“SEC”) regarding the renewal of their certification – which will now be conducted through “Safe Environment Awareness Sessions.”
Teen Volunteer Training will continue to be scheduled by each school or parish. Please contact your local Safe Environment Champion for the schedule of classes.
Safe Environment Awareness Sessions
The new "live" Safe Environment Awareness Sessions will be delivered by trained Safe Environment Facilitators. We are in the process of selecting those Facilitators, who will be attending a one-day workshop on June 15, 16, 22, 23, August 10, or August 11.
If you are interested in being a Safe Environment Facilitator for the Diocese of Fort Worth, please:
- Review the Information for Potential Safe Environment Facilitators:
English Spanish Vietnamese
- Submit a resume and cover letter, along with the completed application, to the diocesan Director of Safe Environment.
- Provide a general idea of weekday availability for a face-to-face interview during the office hours of the Catholic Center.
As Safe Environment Facilitators are selected and trained, dates and locations of Safe Environment Awareness Sessions will be announced and will be continuously updated.
