The Deaconate Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation was specifically designed to provide deacons of the Diocese of Fort Worth with essential information about the growing issue of human trafficking in our local communities. With Texas, particularly the metroplex, being a key area impacted by this crisis, this presentation was created for those in leadership to understand the unique vulnerabilities our children and teens face. During the session, local and state experts shared valuable insights on recognizing warning signs, understanding risk factors, and responding appropriately to suspicious situations. The goal was to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools to keep their parish and community safe, as well as provide guidance on how to report concerns to the proper authorities.
