Deaf Ministry
Our goal is to provide all Deaf and Hard of Hearing persons and their family members accessibility to the Catholic Church in order that they may worship, receive religious education, minister to others and participate in all aspects of parish life.
We work with Deaf persons of all ages and backgrounds, whatever the preferred mode of communication or educational needs. Our programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of Deaf persons and offer these in both a mainstreamed and self-contained setting.

NRH2O Family Water Park

Join the Fort Worth Catholic Community for the Deaf for a fun day at NRH2O Family Water Park on Saturday, July 11, 2026! Meet at the front gate at 10:30 a.m.; park entry begins at 11:00 a.m. A picnic area has been reserved for the group. Discounted tickets are $17 per person; children under 2 are free. Tickets must be pre-purchased to receive this rate. Coolers and outside food are allowed; no glass containers permitted.
Interpreter Workshop

Join the Deaf Ministry of the Diocese of Fort Worth for a workshop on interpreting music in the Catholic Mass through ASL. Explore best practices, conceptualization, and the use of repetition across traditional, Gospel, and soul music while examining how meaning is conveyed through the music of the Mass.
Whenever possible we strive to provide the following services and support as needed:
- Mass for the Deaf (signed and voiced by a Hearing/Deaf priest)
- Interpreted Mass
- Religious Education Classes
- Sacraments and Preparation
- Small Church Communities
- Retreats/Vacation Bible School
- Home/Hospital/Jail Visits
- Support Services for Counseling
- Social Gatherings and Holiday Celebrations
- Referral Information and Community Awareness
