SEC Resources

Each parish and school implements and operates the Safe Environment Program of the Diocese of Fort Worth through the coordinated effort of an assigned Safe Environment Champion (SEC), who is appointed by the pastor. The SEC can be either an employee or a dedicated volunteer. This individual, under the direction of the Pastor, Pastoral Administrator, or Principal, provides and maintains the day-to-day administrative duties of the Safe Environment Program for their parish and/or school.

The Diocesan Safe Environment staff provides administrative support to the SEC through published policies and procedures, curriculum review, quarterly meetings, website information, database technical assistance and training updates.
