Google Map | Parish Website
The Saint Pio Foundation has offered the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth a first-class relic of Saint Pio for the creation of a Chapel of Saint Pio. Other two dioceses (Diocese of Salina and Diocese of Pittsburgh) are designated Chapels, and others will be enlisted with the intention of forming a cross over the United States. The first-class relic, a piece of blood-stained gauze used to clean a side wound of Saint Pio, will be displayed at St. Peter the Apostle in Fort Worth permanently.
Most Reverend Michael F. Olson, STD, MA, will be the main celebrant for the evening Mass where he will bless the installation of the Chapel of Saint Pio. The events will be preceded by a full day veneration of the authentic relics of Saint Pio. Afterwards, there will be a pre-screening of the docudrama Saint Pio of Pietrelcina: Man of Hope and Healing in the school gym of St. Peter the Apostle. Light refreshments will be provided.
The schedule to venerate the relic of Saint Pio after the installation will be set up at St. Peter the Apostle parish, after the September 18 Mass. Please visit the parish website for more details.

His whole life was marked by long hours of prayer and continual austerity. His letters to his spiritual directors reveal the ineffable suffering, physical and spiritual, which accompanied him all through his life. They also reveal his deep union with God, his burning love for...
As part of the several international initiatives to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Saint Pio Foundation, we are delighted to make ten authentic photographs of Saint Pio available to all faithful. You can download them here.
