Miscarriage and Stillbirth

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:18

We are so sorry that you have experienced the loss of your unborn baby through miscarriage or stillbirth. Please know that you are not alone in your grief.

From the Church’s Book of Blessings, The "Blessing of Parents After a Miscarriage" promises, "For those who trust in God, in the pain of sorrow, there is consolation; in the face of despair, there is hope; in the midst of death, there is life."

Prayer

For additional help and resources, contact Mary’s Angels, a ministry of the Diocese of Fort Worth. Parents who have experienced a similar loss are available to help and answer questions.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father and the God who gives every possible encouragement; He supports us in every hardship, so that we are able to come to the support of others, in every hardship of theirs because of the encouragement that we ourselves receive from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Mary’s Angels
