Girl Scouts / Camp Fire
The National Catholic Committee on Girl Scouts and Camp Fire (NCCGSCF) serves Catholic youth and adult through quality faith-based programs. The NCCGSCF oversees, develops, implements, and evaluates religious recognition programs and training opportunities for diocesan and parish leadership and for Catholic leaders in Girl Scouting and Camp Fire. The NCCGSCF develops national policies and guidelines to assist regions and dioceses in the implementation of religious emblem programs and other programs developed by the NCCGSCF. For more information and resources, visit the NCCGSCF website.
The Religious Books, Medals Program
Through Girl Scouting and Camp Fire, youth are encouraged to become stronger members of their one religious faith, and every Girl Scout or Camp Fire that recognized that religious instruction is the responsibility of parents and religious leaders. Religious recognition programs are always developed and administered by each religious group.
Girl Scout & Camp Fire Religious Award Recipients
Because the purchase price of the project books includes the medal for each award, the Office of Youth Ministry and the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Girl Scout and Camp Fire must have a record of each person completing a project book. This will ensure that the young person will receive their medals at the time of the award ceremony without having to pay an extra fee for their medal.
