Three levels: Catechism I, Catechism II, and Concentration in Children’s Catechesis
Course Objectives
- Teaching the content of the faith as articulated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (Levels I and II) and offering a concentration in proper catechetical methodology as it applies to Children’s Catechesis (Level III).
Student Requirements
Certification:
- Level I: participate in all sessions and pass the Open-Book Test at the conclusion of the level.
- Level II: participate in all sessions and pass the Open-Book Test at the conclusion of the level.
- Level III: participate in all sessions and submit two doctrinal lesson plans at the end of the course as your final project.
NOTE: with the online option, one may take the classes at an expedited pace. One is not limited to the monthly schedule.
NOTE: with the online option, one may "test out of' levels I and IL Simply register and ask to take the Open-Book Test, bypassing the instruction.
Audit: There are no requirements. You are free to attend for your own benefit, although you must take the levels in order.
Fees
$50.00 per level.
