The Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM) serves the students at Tarleton State University and Ranger College by providing opportunities for spiritual growth through evangelization, faith formation and service. We are based out of St. Brendan Catholic Church in Stephenville, and our aim is to provide a place for Faith and Fellowship for students to grow into an active disciple.
Our Biggest Areas of Need
- Meals and Supplies: We are blessed to have meals provided for us on Sundays and Wednesdays. So, we as a ministry provide paper goods, drinks, and other supplies to take the burden off our cooks. Your support allows us to supply these goods and support any extra meals we provide as a ministry.
- Conferences and Retreats: Conferences and retreats are wonderful opportunities to encounter God and His Church in a new and deeper way. Many of our students are first-generation college students and/or from low-income families, so we as a ministry try to cover as much of the cost as possible.
- A New Church: We will soon begin a new chapter at St. Brendan as we launch a capital campaign to build an entirely new church and campus! Our church building is approaching 70 years old, and our Masses regularly are at standing room only capacity. As both our ministry and Tarleton continue to grow, now is the time to create a space to serve the next generations of students and parishioners.
