We are St. John Paul II University Parish and Campus Ministry, serving the University of North Texas, Texas Woman's University, and other young adults of the Denton area.

Our campus ministry, located on the south side of UNT's campus, serves as a second home for hundreds of students through a wide range of spiritual activities. We provide nourishment for roughly 70 students each Wednesday at our community night, host five to nine weekly bible studies each semester, offer daily Mass, hear confession three times a week, and celebrate four weekend Masses. Most importantly, our parish-based campus missionaries regularly meet one-on-one with students, the preeminent setting for true conversion.

Dances, campfires, service projects, spiritual retreats, prayer nights, visiting friars and nuns, and more! These are some examples of ways students find the safety in community to explore the truths of the faith in a secular world. While our campus ministry specializes in forming college students in a way that is relevant to young adults, we are also a parish that paints a clearer picture for students to live holiness in all states of life.

College is a time of education and growth, but it's also filled with challenges and superficial pleasures. St. John Paul II offers a haven where students can encounter Christ and his Church, discovering that they are made for more.

Our success is only possible through the generous support of our benefactors. It takes around $150,000 for our campus ministry alone to operate, but much of this is fundraised by our campus missionaries over the summer. Though we have a parishioner base (around 250 registered parishioners) the growth of the campus ministry's outreach to our campuses depends largely on parents, alumni, and other benefactors.
