The Lord calls many of us to serve in various Respect Life ministries. Some are involved with pregnancy centers while others serve in post-abortion healing. Sidewalk advocates pray and minister to women in need in front of clinics, and parish volunteers coordinate outreach opportunities. Whether you are currently involved in one or more pro-life ministries, have been in the past, or hope to be in the future, this Day of Reflection is for you! Oftentimes, those who are directly involved in Respect Life ministries feel drained because of the heaviness of defending the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death in an anti-life culture. This Respect Life Day of Reflection will help remind you why these ministries are important and still necessary, even in a pro-life state like Texas where abortion is illegal.
The presentations by Rev. Msgr. E. James Hart and Jason Whitehead will serve to revive and uplift us. The Mass, celebrated by Msgr. Hart, will feed us spiritually as we receive Christ in the Eucharist. Our time together will provide fellowship as we pray and share a meal. There is no charge, but please register to choose your meal and so we can plan accordingly!
