Pastors are encouraged to attend and to select a parishioner that would be a good leader in starting the Parish Vocation Ministry and up to four additional members to attend the workshop. As shepherd of his flock, the priest provides the Parish Vocation Ministry with vision, direction, advice, and ideas that can only come from a priest’s perspective. His vantage point allows him to see the entire parish—its needs, its activities, and its direction.
