Coordinator of Youth Ministry

The Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth is looking for a qualified Director, Safe Environment to collaborate closely and effectively with clergy and the laity to ensure that the Diocese complies with the requirements of the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People (the “Charter”). Defender of the Bond

The Tribunal Office, Fort Worth

The Tribunal of the Diocese of Fort Worth wishes to hire a full-time Canonist, who will serve as an in-house Defender of the Bond. This person is expected to work with the Judicial Vicar and other members of the office in completing cases in a timely manner. The qualified candidate will be an active, practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church and possess at least a licentiate in canon law (J.C.L). A willingness to take on other canonical duties (for example, giving talks and workshops on canonical matters) is also essential. The canonist must be bilingual – English and Spanish. Prior experience in Tribunal work is preferred but not essential.

The Diocese of Fort Worth is seeking a full-time Director of Campus Ministry for Nolan Catholic High School. The Director of Campus Ministry is responsible for fostering and promoting the Roman Catholic faith. While being passionate about their Catholic faith, the Director must be energetic, dynamic, and have strong communication, leadership, collaborative, and organizational skills.

The Director of Campus Ministry is the administrative member of the Campus Ministry team, and works in collaboration with the Principal and other administration to carry out and develop the Campus Ministry Department's programs: weekly and special liturgies, retreats, charitable giving and volunteer opportunities, scheduling reconciliation, student leadership recruitment and training, service learning opportunities, Diocesan Programs, and the day-to-day Pastoral Care of the student and adult population. Primary responsibilities include oversight and direction of retreat program, direction of charitable giving, administrative duties as assigned by the Principal, and Liturgical planning and oversight.

A qualified candidate is a Roman Catholic, in good standing, actively participating in a parish, has a BA from a Catholic University, (MA is preferred), and has at least 3 years teaching in a Catholic School and/or work in a Catholic Parish. Effective and professional oral and written communication skills are required, as is the ability to present to small and large groups. Maintaining confidential information is required. Candidates must have excellent Excel and social media skills, as well as Microsoft Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
