The Saint Pio Foundation has granted the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth a first-class relic of Saint Pio, along with four other dioceses (Salina, Kansas; Pittsburgh, Philadelphia; Fargo, North Dakota; and San Francisco, California), forming a cross over the United States. The relic, a fragment of blood-stained gauze from a side wound of Saint Pio, will be displayed at St. Peter the Apostle in Fort Worth.

Most Reverend Michael F. Olson, STD, MA, will be the main celebrant for the evening Mass where he will bless the installation of the relic. Afterwards, there will be a pre-screening of the docudrama Saint Pio of Pietrelcina: Man of Hope and Healing in the school gym of St. Peter the Apostle. Light refreshments will be provided.
