Pastoral Juvenil Hispana por parte de la oficina del Ministerio Hispano de la Diócesis de Fort Worth te invita a Retiro de Año Nuevo 2024. El retiro se llevará a cabo el 27 de enero de 2024, de 8:00 am a 5:00 pm en la Iglesia Católica de Santa María la Asunción en Fort Worth. Se solicita una donación de $15.

Please use the materials below and on the box drive to support the USCCB special collection for the Church in Latin America. Support for the Collection for the Church in Latin America is vital to these efforts to prevent and end the violation of those most vulnerable among us. The most effective way you can promote the collection is to mention it to your parishioners during Mass.

The purpose of this retreat is to help students live out their baptismal call of holiness. Our prayer is for our young people to know that they have received, and continue to receive, all the grace necessary to be holy, they simply must respond to Christ by living their lives for Him.
The Scriptural theme of this retreat is from Matthew 5:48, “Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.” The Catechetical theme comes from paragraph 1694 of the Catechism – “Following Christ and united with him, Christians can strive to be "imitators of God as beloved children, and walk in love" by conforming their thoughts, words, and actions to the "mind . . . which is yours in Christ Jesus," and by following his example.
Lunch is included in the registration fee. Snacks will be available as well. The Rally will take place at Nolan Catholic High School in the Arena.

All parishes in the metroplex are encouraged to promote Catholic school open house events this January. Please use the flyers below as bulletin inserts during the month of January to invite your parishioners to tour a Catholic school. Everyone is welcome to tour our Catholic schools and learn more about the faith-filled education in your area. Nolan Athletic Summer Camps

Our summer camps offer students the opportunity to explore their chosen interests in a fun-filled environment. Summer Camps are available for youth (rising 3rd through 8th grade) as well as enrolled, or applied, Nolan Catholic High School students.

World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life
Resources for Parishes and Schools
World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life is Feb. 2, which is also the feast of the Presentation of the Lord. This Feast is also known as Candlemas Day; the day on which candles are blessed symbolizing Christ who is the light of the world. Those in consecrated life are called to reflect the light of Jesus Christ to all peoples. Celebration of this day is transferred to the following weekend, Feb. 3-4, to allow parishes to highlight the gift of religious life and pray for those discerning a religious vocation. This day recognizes the beauty and impact of a life dedicated to poverty, chastity and obedience.
This nationwide event is sponsored by the USA Council of Serra International.
