Annual Diocesan Appeal
GRANT REPORTS DUE for previous Annual Diocesan Appeal grant recipients
In gratitude for your parishioners who support the Annual Diocesan Appeal, the Advancement Foundation must recognize the incredible impact of the operating grants. To share the good work being done, all parishes or schools who received a FY26 grant must submit a brief report on the grant received. Please include a narrative, photos, and the completed and signed report using the fillable PDF below by March 15, 2026. If you have any questions, please email .

Almsgiving with the Annual Diocesan Appeal
Last year every parish that applied for an ADA grant received one, thanks to the generosity of parishioners exceeding the $5 million goal. This year we are $1 million away from this goal. Please share the bulletin ads below during Lent to help us reach goal and fund the grant requests from parishes and schools within our own diocese. These will also be available in the Catholic Social Media portal.
Remember, you can check your parish progress towards goal online with the “Leaderboard” worksheet at https://bit.ly/ADAMaterials2026.
Stewardship at Your Parish
Social media is your friend!
Yes, too many of us are spending way too much time on our phones scrolling, but social media can actually be a powerful engagement tool for your parish. Maybe you are using Flocknote as a means for ministries to communicate with their members or to send parish-wide correspondence; perhaps your one-stop CRM includes messaging and/or emails. But what about reaching the individual who has been checking out your parish but has not yet actually registered, or does not want to commit to a Flocknote group? Enter social media! A simple Facebook post can reach many folks who might not otherwise interact with your parish. Your objective might be to evangelize, promote an event, or simply bring comfort in our chaotic world.
Did you know the Diocese has a subscription to Catholic Social Media (https://prengersolutions.com/products/catholic-social-media/which) you can utilize for free? Data tells us that regular social media posts build engagement, and CSM provides you with readymade, high quality content. Please contact or call 817-886-6607 for more information!
Light of Christ Awards
Give your parishioners a real life example of discipleship.
The Light of Christ Award nomination forms are now available! Recognizing an individual parishioner (or married couple) with the Light of Christ award gives a tangible and accessible model of living out the four pillars of Stewardship (prayer, formation, hospitality and service) to your parishioners. Your communities may think that Stewardship is only about giving money (and this is a very common misconception!), so it is important that they see someone get recognized for their many hours of volunteering to help with landscaping, or for their time spent in adoration, or perhaps for their willingness to call and welcome new parishioners. In other words, teach your parishioners how to respond as disciples, not just through inserts in the bulletin, but by giving them a real-life example!
Award ceremonies are scheduled for (all events will start at 6:30pm and end at 8:00pm):
- Thursday, June 18; Immaculate Conception Church, Denton
- Thursday, June 25; Our Lady Queen of Peace, Wichita Falls
- Thursday, July 2; Immaculate Heart of Mary, Fort Worth
- Thursday, July 9; Our Lady of Lourdes, Mineral Wells
- Thursday, July 16; Our Lady of Mercy, Hillsboro
Paper applications are being mailed out to all parishes, however you may access the online application here: Light of Christ Nomination Form – Fill out form.
Please visit www.advancementfoundation.org/stewardship-awards for more information, or contact or call 817-886-6607.
