Special Collection November 23-24

The Diocese of Fort Worth is blessed with three Ghanaian priests serving in Flower Mound and Arlington parishes. In gratitude for their missionary service, the diocese will take up a special collection for the Archdiocese of Kumasi, Ghana. To express our gratitude to the Archdiocese, for sending their priests to the Diocese of Fort Worth, encourage parishioners to give generously to this special collection before Thanksgiving. Young Adult Advent Reflection

Young Adults, ages 18-35 of the Diocese of Fort Worth, are invited to join us for our second annual Advent Reflection on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 5:00 pm at St. Ann Parish, 100 SW Alsbury Boulevard, Burleson, TX 76028. This year we are pleased to announce our speaker, Paul J. Kim, who will relate the Advent season of joyful anticipation to being a Catholic young adult. In this presentation, Paul offers insight from Scripture, world-class authors & influencers, and personal experience on how to not only avoid making a mess of one’s young adulthood (and beyond) but to also thrive and succeed while living life to the full.

Parish Vocations Ministry Workshop

Register Your Participants by December 20

The Office of Vocations, in conjunction with the three Serra Clubs of the Diocese of Fort Worth, is sponsoring a Parish Vocations Ministry (PVM) Workshop on Saturday, January 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Keller. The day will include Mass with Bishop Olson at 11 a.m., as well as breakfast and lunch. There is no charge to attend, however, advance registration is required to ensure enough food and materials. Each parish is asked to send up to five people willing to start (or continue) a parish vocations ministry.
