Join us for a Young Adult Mass sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth Office of Young Adult Ministry. The event will take place on February 15th, 2025, at 6:30 PM, at Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church, Fort Worth. Bishop Michael F. Olson, will be the celebrant. Dinner will follow in the Great Hall.
Middle School Rally
Saturday, February 22, 2025
The Middle School Rally is an opportunity for middle school youth and their adult leaders from across the Diocese to spend a full day together in celebration of our Catholic faith and identity. Join us on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Nolan Catholic High School, 4501 Bridge St, Fort Worth, TX 76103 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Registration is offered through an appointed parish or Catholic school group leader. Please contact your parish DRE, Youth Minister, or Catholic school leader in order to register for this event.
Deaf Ministry Workshop
Understanding and Lectoring at the Catholic Mass
Deaf and ASL Interpreters, join us for an interactive workshop led by Sue Gudenkauf that will provide best practices for lectoring and interpreting scripture and frozen text in the Mass. The cost is $25 and includes lodging and meals at Mount Carmel Center in Dallas. Scholarships available!

Just in time for parish Lent almsgiving initiatives, parishioners, parish volunteers and parish staff are invited to the annual Diocesan Day of Stewardship. Saturday March 8, 2025, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Mark in Argyle. This year’s conference will be bilingual with Mass, breakfast, keynote speakers and breakout sessions expanding on Catholic Stewardship in Action during the 2025 Jubilee Year. Who will benefit by attending? Priests, deacons, parish staff, stewardship committee, communications committee, evangelization and outreach ministries, lay Catholics.

Are you looking for deeper meaning in your spiritual journey? Then join us for a short course in Christianity hosted by the Fort Worth Diocese English Cursillo. Spend 3 days developing a deeper understanding of what it means to be fully Catholic by being fully Christian. Join us for a Vocations Weekend Retreat for men in high school and college, ages 16 and older, from April 11-13, 2024, at St. Joseph Seminary College in Covington, LA. Experience Mass, discernment stories, communal prayer, and a seminary tour—all at no cost. Transportation is provided to and from the seminary.

Liturgical and Music Ministry
National Grant Opportunity
OCP Parish Grant applications are now open for 2025! The OCP Parish Grants Program provides direct financial assistance to parishes and college ministries seeking to enhance the worship experience of their communities, develop and reinforce liturgical and music ministries, create and strengthen multicultural ministries, and expand educational and charitable outreach.
Parish Grants are commonly used to:
- Purchase music, hymnals and other worship materials
- Improve multicultural ministries with bilingual resources and additional training
- Provide digital resources to support liturgy preparation
- Maintenance, repairs and replacement of musical instruments, equipment and facilities
- Continuing education through liturgical conference and workshops
Applications are open now and deadline for submissions is May 30. Recipients will be notified in August.

Please save the following dates on your parish calendar for Mass homilies, intercessions and announcements. If possible, please refrain from scheduling visiting priests or parish-wide events on these weekends. Please reserve these two weekends as a commitment to Catholic Stewardship in Action for the 92 parishes, 17 schools, many apostolates and thousands of Catholics within the Diocese of Fort Worth who depend on the Annual Diocesan Appeal for support throughout the year.

Special Collection Calendars
The Diocese of Fort Worth has announced 14 special collections in calendar year 2026 including the optional Rice Bowl. This is 1 collection less than 2025.
The Diocese of Fort Worth has added a new special collection for St. Vincent de Paul diocesan council in August of 2026 to support the needy within our communities.
Please consider when ordering offertory envelopes, work with your parish communication committee to design unique envelopes for your parish, building fund, and even special collections. With written permission from your pastor, the Advancement Foundation is happy to provide envelope designs.
