Summer Planning
Plan to share the gift of faith
Our parishes and schools are more than buildings—they are living communities where faith is formed, sacraments are celebrated, and lives are transformed.
Planned gifts help sustain these sacred places long into the future, supporting everything from Catholic education to ministry outreach. Even a simple bequest can make a profound impact.
If you’ve ever wondered how to give back in a lasting way, this may be the perfect place to begin.

Stewardship at Your Parish
Imago Dei Registration is Open!
The Advancement Foundation is pleased to open up registration for Imago Dei: In communion and stewardship with God and one another. This is a series of five talks on stewardship, scheduled on various Saturdays from August through October at different parishes throughout the Diocese. Four of the days will cover a specific stewardship pillar—prayer, service, hospitality and formation—and a fifth day will be a broad stewardship talk delivered entirely in Spanish. These events are intended for anyone who is interested in deepening their understanding of what it means to live a life of discipleship.
- August 15, St. Vincent de Paul in Arlington: Hospitality
- August 29, Our Lady Queen of Peace in Wichita Falls: Prayer
- September 19, St. Stephen in Weatherford: Service
- October 3, St. Andrew in Fort Worth: Formation
- October 10, Diocesan Formation Center in Fort Worth: Stewardship Overview (Spanish)
Registration is open for the August 15th Hospitality talk at St. Vincent de Paul in Arlington, located at 5819 W Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington. The day will begin with Mass at 8:30am, followed by breakfast in the parish hall and then a talk given by Renée Bader, Director of Stewardship and Ministry at St. Vincent de Paul parish. The talk should conclude by 11:30am. Individual tickets are $5/person, but a generous group discount will be given to groups of 5 or more people, if they are from the same parish.
Register here: www.givecentral.org/ImagoDeiHospitality
The August 15th talk will examine how you, the individual parishioner, parish staff, stewardship member, etc., open your heart to others. With 19 years of experience in the Diocese of Fort Worth, Ms. Bader will lead a discussion on what hospitality means from the perspective of our baptismal call. Spoiler alert: hospitality is more than serving coffee and donuts after Mass!
As always, please reach out with any questions/comments: at 817-886-6607 (office) 626-643-9803 (cell).
