Catholic Communication

Special Collection, May 16-17, 2026

How do you receive your news from the USCCB or Diocese of Fort Worth? Most likely from the communication ministries of the diocese and USCCB. The upcoming Catholic Communication special collection supports online and print communication efforts at the national and local level. Our new diocesan podcast, the Catholic Social Media tool, and the North Texas Catholic magazine are examples of the innovative ways the Diocese of Fort Worth communication department features the living Gospel in our parishes and schools. Please promote this special collection to continue evangelization in the Church. Please promote the local link: fwdioc.org/special-collections so that half the proceeds can stay within the Diocese of Fort Worth. View Flyer

In this episode, Kasey Whitley shares her powerful journey from having no faith background to becoming Catholic—and how that path led her to champion adoption as a life-giving mission for vulnerable children and families. Stewardship

Stewardship at Your Parish

To Ministry Fair or Not??

Does your parish joyfully host a ministry fair every year?  Or does the mere idea of it make you want to hide?  Hopefully very few of our parishes feel the latter, but all joking aside your input would be very valuable in putting together some simple best practices for parishes who would like to refresh their existing fair or are hosting one for the first time (or maybe finally relenting and hosting one after much resistance).

Please take a few minutes to complete a Ministry Fair Survey here:
Ministry Fair Survey – Fill out form

If your parish currently does not host a ministry fair, please indicate why at the bottom of the survey.

As always, please reach out with any questions/comments: at 817-886-6607 (office) 626-643-9803 (cell).

Cloud for 2026 Special Collection Materials

Throughout the year, parishes throughout the Diocese of Fort Worth take up special collections to support the work of Christ in our Diocese, in the United States and throughout the world. One hundred percent of four special collections each year stay in the Diocese of Fort Worth. These collections support our future priests, retired priests and the poor and vulnerable in our communities. Please give generously when these collections are announced in your parish.

When ordering offertory envelopes,  please consider working with your parish communication committee to design unique envelopes for your parish, building fund, and even special collections. With written permission from your pastor, the Advancement Foundation is happy to provide envelope designs.
