Lights, Catholic, Action!

Lights, Catholic, Action! S2 Ep. 18: Big Catholic Family, Bigger God Surprises

Growing up in a lively Catholic family of seven, siblings Julia and Michael Marincel share how their parents’ late conversion, homeschooling, vibrant Maronite parish life, and quirky traditions (like epic Easter confetti-egg wars) formed them into a sign-language interpreter for the Deaf community and a seminarian for the Diocese of Fort Worth. Hear how they wrestled with college, vocation, community, and staying faithful in secular spaces—and how God keeps surprising them as they learn to serve the Church in very different but beautifully connected ways.

Watch on YouTube or listen on your favorite podcast platform! Each episode, released every Tuesday, explores the identity and mission of the Catholic Church in North Texas with a new guest each week. Also, please share on your social media platforms or parish e-bulletins!

Stewardship

Stewardship at Your Parish

As we enter this season of Advent, many of you probably have a full schedule of programs, reflections, and other ways that you are helping your communities prayerfully prepare for the birth of our Lord. In the midst of the activities, this is a gentle reminder that many folks who have not been to Mass in a long time will be coming through your doors during Advent and through Christmas Day. Do you have a simple way for these folks to register? Are you able to put a QR code in your bulletin to direct people to your website? Is your website ready for increased traffic? Are your Christmas Mass times on your home page? These are simple but effective ways to not only engage your occasional Mass-goers but to also be tools for evangelization for those who are curious about the faith.

A stewardship committee at your parish can be a benefit for so many reasons! If you are interested in exploring how to transform your parish into a stewardship way of life mindset, please contact Patricia Gonzalez or call 817-886-6607 for more information.
