Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, Catholic Charities Fort Worth honors the life of dignity of the human person and provides preferential option for the poor and vulnerable. All parishes are asked to give parishioners the opportunity to support the charitable arm of our local Church with the October 12-13 special collection for Catholic Charities Fort Worth. World Mission Sunday
Special Collection October 19-20, 2024
Catholics in every parish around the world are invited to participate in World Mission Sunday through prayer and support for the World Mission Sunday special collection. This collection supports the Pontifical Mission Societies, a worldwide network at the service of the Pope that supports the missions and the Young Churches with prayer and charity. This year’s theme, chosen by Pope Francis, is rooted in the Gospel of Matthew: “Go and Invite Everyone to the Banquet,” reflecting the inclusive and urgent call to bring God’s love to everyone. Day of Prayer for the Health and Wellness of Clergy and Men and Women Religious, Friday, October 18 – Feast of St. Luke the Evangelist
“The annual Day of Prayer was created to recognize and provide spiritual support to our devoted clergy and men and women religious who tirelessly serve our Church and the people of God. The day will also serve as a powerful reminder of the significance of self-care, healing, maintaining a strong spiritual foundation and promoting a supportive environment for men and women who serve us through their vocations.”

Come & See Discernment Retreat

Join us for a Vocations Weekend Retreat for men in high school and college, ages 16 and older, from November 8-10, 2024, at St. Joseph Seminary College in Covington, LA. Experience Mass, discernment stories, communal prayer, and a seminary tour—all at no cost. Transportation is provided to and from the seminary.
