Communications & Mission Advancement

Lights, Catholic, Action!

Lights, Catholic, Action!

Lights, Catholic, Action! S2 Ep. 23: From Skeptic to Believer

Author and speaker Tim Francis shares how a mother’s relentless prayers pulled him from addiction and a Protestant mega-church back to Catholicism—through hard evidence, debates in his living room, and a startling documentary on modern miracles that ignited his belief in the Eucharist. Now a nationwide speaker, he explains practical ways to “pray the Mass,” why daily sacraments change lives, and how his parish missions spark real returns to Confession, Adoration, and Sunday worship.

Stewardship

Stewardship at Your Parish

Light of Christ nomination forms are coming soon!

If you are not familiar with Light of Christ awards, this is an annual recognition presented to lay individuals throughout the Diocese who exemplify the light of Christ through living a life of Christian Stewardship.  When choosing a recipient, consider the four pillars of Stewardship—service, prayer, hospitality and formation.  Consider how this individual (or married couple) uses their gifts to deepen the life of the church in their parish; in other words, this person (or couple) should embody discipleship.

If you have never nominated someone from your parish, please make the time this year! It is so valuable for your parishioners to see that parishes thrive when individuals are willing to share their gifts. Please contact or call 817-886-6607 for more information, or visit https://www.advancementfoundation.org/stewardship-awards (nomination form to be updated soon!).
