"We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves; let each of us please his neighbor for his good to edify him. For Christ did not please himself; but, as it is written, ‘The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me. For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."  Rom 15:7-13

Mission Statement

As members of the Body of Christ we are called to invite modern man into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. The New Evangelization is the embodiment of this call and response to form active and intentional disciples. Our mission is to live the out the Kerygma (Gospel) in a faithful and fruitful way bringing Christ to the forefront of all that we do.

Three Distinct Forms of Evangelization

(Redemptoris Missio, 33)
  • Preach to those who have never heard the Gospel (Ad Gentes)
  • Preach to those Christian Communities where the Church is present and who have fervor in their faith
  • Preach to those Christian communities who have ancient roots but who have lost a sense of faith or even no longer consider themselves members of the Church and live a life far removed from Christ and his Gospel.

Blessed Pope Paul VI reminds us:

"Modern Man listens more willingly to witnesses than to teachers and if he does listen to teachers it is because they are witnesses." - Evangelization In the Modern World, 41

Keys to Discipleship

  • Don’t tell God what to do.
  • Learn to accept Him as he reveals himself to us.
  • Do not seek to exult yourself to God’s level.
  • In humble service we should let ourselves be slowly refashioned into God’s true image.
