Translations and Interpretation Service

Catholic Charities Fort Worth has been providing language access to the community since 1999. With a diverse set of services, we support up to 200 different languages through Face to Face Interpretation and our translation services. Our dual-purpose mission is unique to our community. We provide work and living wage for over 500 interpreters and translators in our Diocese and help those that need language access to communicate effectively. The Fort Worth Diocesan Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics, their families and friends will hold their monthly meeting of prayer and conversation on Thursday August 23rd at 7 PM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 2100 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012, 817-460-2751. Sign Language Classes

The Diocese Deaf Ministry Program is offering Sign Language Classes beginning in September at 2 locations this Fall. The 10 week course will give students and interactive experience in sign language including small group and hands on activities. Students will learn basic vocabulary, rules of grammar and cultural aspects of the deaf community and the history of American Sign Language. See flyer below.



Respect Life Night with Abby Johnson

Come hear former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson as she shares her story of fierce determination to help women in need. It was this desire that initially led Abby to her job at Planned Parenthood. However, it also is what caused her to flee the nation’s largest abortion provider, become an outspoken advocate for the pro-life movement, and convert to the Catholic Faith. This event will be held on Friday, Sept. 28th at 7:30 pm, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Fort Worth. Vocations Weekend Retreat

Come and See St. Joseph Seminary College

The Fall retreat 2018 Come & See St. Joseph Seminary College will take place at St. Joseph Seminary College in Covington, LA. This vocations weekend retreat is scheduled for November 2-4, 2018 for young men 16 years and older.

Please invite young men to experience what life is like at St. Joseph’s Seminary with others who are discerning a call to the priesthood. Reserve your spot by October 24, 2018.
