Catholic Diocese Liturgical Adaptations

Fort Worth Catholic Diocese Bishop Michael Olson has asked to please view full statement, guidelines, and protocols below for public Mass as of July 3, 2020.

Sunday Mass Live Streamed

Due to the Coronavirus forcing so many to stay home, the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth will live stream the Sunday, 11 a.m. Mass from St. Patrick Cathedral for the foreseeable future. It will be interpreted for the deaf community. Go to the front page of the diocesan website at: You could also find other parishes live stream schedules as well.

Note: Bishop Olson is asking each parish to include the following Spiritual Communion Prayer in your bulletin for the faithful to pray during these trying times when they cannot attend Mass.

All 501(c)(3) Catholic parishes, schools, ministries, and other not-for-profit Catholic organizations and apostolates affiliated with the Diocese of Fort Worth are invited to participate! Your participation is at no charge, but will require that you sign up by August 1 and participate in several scheduled training events. Register here to participate. For mature audiences only! U.S. law defines human trafficking as the use of force, fraud or coercion to compel a person into commercial sex acts or labor or services against his or her will. With minors, commercial sex is human trafficking regardless of the presence of force, fraud or coercion. Human trafficking is a huge problem in the United States. Learn why the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex is one of the most highly trafficked areas for this crime. News About St. Francis de Sales

Diocesan Catechist Certification Program

Registration for two new formation sites is currently open (one in English one in Spanish). The classes will be starting via Zoom and once allowed we will move to in person classes. The classes are held once a month with a two hour duration. For more information about St. Francis de Sales and to register, please visit Classes in English will be on the second Saturday of every month from 9:00m to 11:am starting on Sept 12, 2020. The 58th Annual ICSC conference has gone fully virtual in 2020. From September 28-October 9, ENCOUNTER!
