June 25-26, 2022 Special Collection
On June 25-26 the Diocese of Fort Worth will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection. Funds raised during this collection support the Universal Church and help the Holy Father as he shows mercy to the neediest people around the world, in recognition of the common humanity shared by peoples of all ethnicities and religious backgrounds. Worldwide Marriage Encounter
June 2022
Worldwide Marriage Encounter has expanded to offer the experience during the week for those who cannot commit to a weekend. This is great for priests who cannot get away as easily. It’s called a 3RE and spans several weeks with sessions twice a week. Information can be found on the WWME.org website. WWME is still offering “virtual” experiences so couples can benefit from a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend without the risks of in person gatherings. One of the benefits of this approach is that those attending do not have to live close to a central location.
Information from Worldwide Marriage Encounter coordinators is available for parishes to inform couples of upcoming Encounter events. Feel free to include this valuable information in your bulletins.

#iGiveCatholic Giving Day
Registration Kick-off; July 14, 2022
Join us July 14 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament in Arlington for information and inspiration about this year’s #iGiveCatholic Giving Day!
Parishes, Schools, and Apostolates of the Fort Worth Diocese are invited to participate in this year’s #iGiveCatholic Giving Day on November 29, 2022. Last year, 59 Parishes, Schools and Apostolates participated, receiving a total of $402,516 raised, plus $100,000 in matching funds awarded. Register here for the kickoff. The St. John Paul II Shepherd’s Guild engages lay Catholics in the pastoral work of fostering vocations in the Diocese of Fort Worth. The Shepherd’s Guild hosts spiritual and educational opportunities for members for their understanding of priestly vocations, and provides financial support for our Diocesan seminarians. Employees of the Diocese of Fort Worth may join the Shepherd’s Guild through the convenience of payroll deduction. The form to enroll in payroll deduction is available below.
