Stewardship at Your Parish
Save the Dates—Diocesan Days of Stewardship this Summer/Fall
The Advancement Foundation is hosting five stewardship events at various parishes throughout the Diocese starting in August through October. Four of the days will cover a specific stewardship pillar—prayer, service, hospitality and formation—and a fifth day will be a broad stewardship talk delivered entirely in Spanish. These events are intended for anyone who is interested in deepening their understanding of what it means to live a life of discipleship.
More details will be forthcoming, but in the meantime please save these dates:
- August 15, St. Vincent de Paul in Arlington: Hospitality
- August 29, Our Lady Queen of Peace in Wichita Falls: Prayer
- September 19, St. Stephen in Weatherford: Service
- October 3, St. Andrew in Fort Worth: Formation
- October 10, Diocesan Formation Center in Fort Worth: Stewardship Overview (Spanish)

Renewing our Baptismal call during the Centenary of World Mission Sunday
In preparation for the historic celebration of 100 years of World Mission Sunday, we invite you to join us for a Day of Reflection on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM, at St. Matthew Parish, 2021 New York Ave., Arlington, TX 76010, to reflect as missionary disciples on how we can proclaim, live, and share the faithful love of God in our world today.
The keynote speaker will be Father Juan Molina, President and CEO, of the Mexican American Catholic College in San Antonio, Texas.

Throughout the year, parishes throughout the Diocese of Fort Worth take up special collections to support the work of Christ in our Diocese, in the United States and throughout the world. One hundred percent of four special collections each year stay in the Diocese of Fort Worth. These collections support our future priests, retired priests and the poor and vulnerable in our communities. Please give generously when these collections are announced in your parish.
When ordering offertory envelopes, please consider working with your parish communication committee to design unique envelopes for your parish, building fund, and even special collections. With written permission from your pastor, the Advancement Foundation is happy to provide envelope designs.
