Rings of Security
IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR PASTORS AND BUSINESS MANAGERS
As pastors, You should have received a more detailed letter from Msgr. E. James Hart concerning what is required of you and your parish to implement Phase Two of the diocesan security plan. The attached bulletin is to be distributed through your weekly bulletin for the next two weeks concerning the second phase of security measures which are being implemented at parishes. The bulletin announcement does not go into the implement details outlined in your letter for security reasons.
The bulletin announcement is intended to keep parishioners informed about addressing safety and security at our parishes without revealing important details. It is important that every parish provide this bulletin announcement to parishioners because if notes that the ban of weapons on diocesan property remains in effect, except when specifically authorized.
