Emergency Collection for Catholic Charities Fort Worth
Bishop Olson has called for an emergency special collection for Catholic Charities Fort Worth during all Masses, March 20-21
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Catholic Charities is unable to accept any new applications for financial assistance at this time. Both COVID-19 and Winter Storm Uri have created a widespread need in our communities, and there are thousands already on their waitlist. To illustrate how truly dire the need is, it would take $4.2 million to serve their existing clients alone, not counting those who reached out for the first time last week. If you can, please give. All gifts make a difference as we to Catholic Charities as they work to respond to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and recent impacts of a winter storm disaster.
Online giving to this special collection is available now at: https://bit.ly/DiocesanSpecialCollections

Worldwide Marriage Encounter
Worldwide Marriage Encounter has expanded to offer the experience during the week for those who cannot commit to a weekend. This is great for priests who cannot get away as easily. It’s called a 3RE and spans several weeks with sessions twice a week. Information can be found on the WWME.org website. WWME is still offering “virtual” experiences so couples can benefit from a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend without the risks of in person gatherings. One of the benefits of this approach is that those attending do not have to live close to a central location.
Attached is a WORD document with bulletin announcements in English as well as in Spanish. Additionally, there are .jpeg images, one for each Sunday in the month that can be placed into the weekly parish bulletins. Information from Worldwide Marriage Encounter coordinators is available for parishes to inform couples of upcoming Encounter events. Feel free to include this valuable information in your bulletins.
