Collection for Black and Indian Mission

The annual collection for Black and Indian Mission provides grants to dioceses across the country, including the Diocese of Fort Worth, that enliven parish life and catechesis programs, empower ministries, support teachers and encourage vocations to the priesthood. Lenten Discernment for Men
March 13, 20, 27 and April 3, 2019
The Vocations Office invites all men in high school and college to attend a weekly Holy Hour and series of discernment topics on Wednesday evenings of Lent. This event will be at St. Patrick Cathedral and the evening will start with Holy Hour at 6:00 pm followed by dinner and a discussion of topics on prayer, seminary life, and the priesthood. St. Junipero Serra Institute will be offering a two courses for specific ministerial concentrations. The courses that we will offer are: Introduction to RCIA and Adult faith formation and Theology of the Body as an introduction to marriage and family life. The courses will run for six weeks starting March 18th, 2019. Registration is open now!

Stewardship Day of Renewal

You are invited to attend the fourth annual Diocesan Stewardship Day of Renewal: “Building His Kingdom Together” on Saturday, March 30. This event is hosted by The Advancement Foundation and will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Keller.

Vocations Weekend Retreat, April 12-14, 2019
The Spring 2019 Come & See Weekend will take place at St. Joseph Seminary College in Covington, LA. This vocations weekend retreat is scheduled for April 12-14, 2019 for young men 16 years and older who are in high school and college.

On this faith-based tour through Central Europe, visit some of Central Europe’s most important cathedrals and pilgrimage sites, and witness some of its most striking scenery. Plus, enjoy first-class seats to Oberammergau’s Passion Play, performed every 10 years by Oberammergau residents as a thank you for saving the town from the Black Death. With beautiful alpine scenery as the backdrop, it is nothing short of spectacular!
