Charitable Gift Annuity
Rates Scheduled to Change
The Advancement Foundation has some news we would like to share that can help you boost your retirement income and support your parish, school or the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth. But you must act by Dec. 31 to maximize your benefits.
How It Works: You make a donation using cash, marketable securities or other assets, and the Advancement Foundation, in turn, pays you a fixed amount for life. With this type of gift, you can feel secure knowing you will receive stable payments for as long as you live. And now, if you make your gift by Dec. 31, the gift annuity rates will be an estimated 0.3 to 0.5 percent higher than they will be beginning Jan. 1. More details are available in the attached document, at our website or by contacting , Associate Director, Advancement Foundation, Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth at 817-945-9441.

Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting
The Advent season and Christmas break are great times for Catholic Cub Scouts to start or work on one of the religious emblems for their faith. All Catholic scouts are eligible for Light of Christ or Parvuli Dei awards, even if their unit is not chartered to a Catholic parish. To earn the badges, the youth only need to complete the workbooks with their families, then review them with their parish priest or priest’s representative.
Worldwide Marriage Encounter
The Diocese’s program to building better marriage is coordinated by Worldwide Marriage Encounter.
Information from Worldwide Marriage Encounter coordinators is available for parishes to inform couples of upcoming Encounter events. Feel free to include this valuable information in your bulletins.
