St. Patrick Cathedral Documentary

A 30-minute St. Patrick Cathedral documentary by longtime Fort Worth Catholic video maker Chuck Johnson, owner of Big Bad Wolf Creative Group, will air at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 on NBC Channel 5, KXAS, prior to the Notre Dame game against Navy. The documentary explores many facets of the Cathedral, which is the seat of the Bishop, from how the Cathedral was built in 1889 to the origin of its many religious objects. St. Patrick, which originally was named St. Stanislaus, was the first parish established in what is now the Diocese of Fort Worth.
Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD)
Special Collection, November 23-24, 2019
Through this collection, we stand in solidarity with the poor and support them as they work to break the cycle of poverty and transform their communities. CCHD offers a hand up, not a hand out. Please remember that 25 percent of the funds collected remain in the Diocese of Fort Worth to fund local anti-poverty efforts.

Catholic Charities of Fort Worth invite you to join us for a one-hour program and tour we call our KNOW Poverty Hour. These are at Catholic Charities of Ft Worth, 249 W Thornhill, Ft Worth, TX 76115. These sessions will allow you to see the work of Catholic Charities firsthand. During this time, you will meet one of the agency’s visionary leaders and some of the great staff. These sessions are NOT fundraisers. They are designed to increase awareness of poverty in our area and engage the community in our efforts to end it.
