The Catholic Campaign for Human Development supports the 40 million people living in poverty across the country. It identifies and addresses the unique obstacles people face as they work to lift themselves out of poverty. In addition, 25% of the funds we collect will remain in our diocese to fund local antipoverty projects, such as Catholic Charities Fort Worth, Seymour Ministerial Alliance and Society of St. Vincent de Paul. By supporting this collection, you are giving those on the margins a hand up, not a handout. Please be generous. Worldwide Marriage Encounter
We have some great news! In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, WWME is offering “virtual” experiences so couples can benefit from a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend without the risks of in person gatherings. One of the benefits of this approach is that those attending do not have to live close to a central location. The next weekend is November 13-15th.
May God bless you for your help in reaching out to married couples, priests, and religious about Worldwide Marriage Encounter. We appreciate you printing the announcements as often as possible to encourage couples to invest in their relationships.
Attached is a WORD document with bulletin announcements in English as well as in Spanish. Additionally, there are .jpeg images, one for each Sunday in the month that can be placed into the weekly parish bulletins. Information from Worldwide Marriage Encounter coordinators is available for parishes to inform couples of upcoming Encounter events. Feel free to include this valuable information in your bulletins.
