St. Andrew’s Breakfast

The next St. Andrew's Breakfast for the fall will be on Saturday morning November 17, 2018 at St. Patrick Cathedral at 8:00 AM. The day will begin with Mass at the Cathedral followed by breakfast in the Cathedral Annex Building. We encourage young men in high school and college to attend. Annual Silver & Golden Mass

The Office of Marriage and Family Life will host the annual Silver and Golden Anniversary Mass Celebration for all couples who are celebrating their 25th and 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Nov. 18th at 3pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 5109 E. Lancaster Ave. Fort Worth, TX 76112. All couples who have been married longer than 50 years are also welcome. Bishop Michael F. Olson will preside at this special Mass which will include an opportunity for couples to renew their marriage vows and receive an anniversary blessing. A light reception with cake and punch will follow immediately following in the parish’s Family Life Center. For more information please contact or call (817) 945-9354.

As more and more of our parishioners reach age 70-1/2, giving to charity through an IRA Rollover and receiving tax benefits becomes a very appealing option. See below for a new marketing piece/form and a bulletin announcement to promote IRA charitable distributions in parishes and schools. This is a writable PDF, so you may post it on your parish website or email it to those who inquire about supporting your parish, Catholic school or the Diocese of Fort Worth through a required minimum distribution from an IRA. The Diocesan Electronic Calendar is a listing of major events and activities at the Diocese as well as in parishes and schools. Parishes and schools may submit information that may be of interest to individuals outside of a parish or school for inclusion on the diocesan electronic calendar with a hotlink to details if appropriate.
