Sabbath Shield, the Diocese's security experts, provide parish and school staff clarification on the Diocese's no gun policy and what to do in the event someone does bring a gun onto your parish or school property. Please find below instructions on ways to help keep our parishes and schools safer.
Respect Life Month

Emergency Special Collection
2018 Disasters, October 6-7, 2018
We’ve all seen the news coverage and have heard about the widespread destruction storms like Hurricane Florence cause. Our hearts join with others around our nation for those in the path of these storms and for the on-going efforts to rebuild. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Office of National Collections has set up a fund for natural disasters that the faithful can contribute to. This 2018 Disaster fund will be used to support the efforts of Catholic Charities USA and/or Catholic Relief Services as they respond to the immediate needs of food, water, shelter and medical care and aid in long-term rebuilding and recovery.

The day will begin with Mass at the Cathedral followed by breakfast in the Cathedral Annex Building. We encourage young men in high school and college to attend.
