Parish Stewardship Day
October 17 – RSVP Now!
Pastors, parish staff members, parish stewardship committee members, catechists and volunteers are invited to attend the Diocese of Fort Worth Parish Stewardship Day sponsored by The Advancement Foundation and presented by Tracy Earl Welliver, author of Everyday Stewardship. The event is on Thursday, October 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Grapevine.
Morning presentations include “Living as an Everyday Steward” and “Becoming the YOU that God Created.” Afternoon sessions include interactive work in small groups to surface practical ideas to take back to your parish. Tracy Earl Welliver, MTS, is a Catholic author, speaker, teacher, blogger, and stewardship coach with over twenty years’ experience in parish ministry. He is currently the Director of Parish Community and Engagement for Liturgical Publications.

World Mission Sunday Special Collection October 19-20, 2019
“Baptized and Sent”
Pope Francis has set October 2019 as an Extraordinary Missionary Month (EMM) to foster greater awareness of "missio ad gentes" (mission to all peoples) and to animate the missionary transformation of Church life and pastoral activity. World Mission Sunday (WMS) will be celebrated in this EMM on October 20.

St. Andrew Breakfast

Please invite high school and college young men to make plans to attend the first St. Andrew Breakfast of the fall on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The day will begin with Mass at St. Patrick Cathedral followed by breakfast in the Cathedral Annex Building. This will be a time of prayer, meal, and discussion. We encourage young men in high school and college of the diocese of Fort Worth to attend. RSVP by October 17th to the Vocations Office at or by calling 817-945-9321.
Catholic Charities of Fort Worth invite you to join us for a one-hour program and tour we call our KNOW Poverty Hour. These are at Catholic Charities of Ft Worth, 249 W Thornhill, Ft Worth, TX 76115. These sessions will allow you to see the work of Catholic Charities firsthand. During this time, you will meet one of the agency’s visionary leaders and some of the great staff. These sessions are NOT fundraisers. They are designed to increase awareness of poverty in our area and engage the community in our efforts to end it.

Respect Life Month
Respect Life Month 2019 is upon us! What is your parish doing in October to celebrate the gift of life and share about the Church’s teaching on the Sanctity and Dignity of ALL human life?
