Texas Catholic Bishops Conference Advocacy Day at Texas Legislature
This spring, our diocese will take a delegation to the Texas Capitol to meet with our legislators and pray with all the bishops of Texas. The day, known as Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Catholic Advocacy Day, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
The Diocese of Fort Worth will have approximately 50 individuals who will be advocates visiting our legislators. If you have an individual in your parish who you believe may be interested in participating, please send , the diocesan Advocacy Day coordinator, the name and contact information for the individual via email to by January 25, 2023.
We will contact the individual to discuss what is expected of advocates in more detail. We will provide training for those who become advocates.

The bishops’ legislative priorities will drive our advocacy work, not just on March 28, but throughout the 88th Legislature. Here is a link to the bishops’ legislative priorities.

Diocesan Middle School Rally
February 25, 2023
The Middle School Rally is an opportunity for middle school youth and their adult leaders from across the Diocese to spend a full day together in celebration of our Catholic faith and identity. All youth between the grades of 6th thru 8th are welcome to come. Rally will be held in The Colony at Holy Cross Catholic Church. In-person registration will be done through parishes. Please contact your Youth Minister / Group Leader to register.
Worldwide Marriage Encounter
February 2023
Worldwide Marriage Encounter has expanded to offer the experience during the week for those who cannot commit to a weekend. This is great for priests who cannot get away as easily. It’s called a 3RE and spans several weeks with sessions twice a week. Information can be found on the WWME.org website. WWME is still offering “virtual” experiences so couples can benefit from a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend without the risks of in person gatherings. One of the benefits of this approach is that those attending do not have to live close to a central location.
Information from Worldwide Marriage Encounter coordinators is available for parishes to inform couples of upcoming Encounter events. Feel free to include this valuable information in your bulletins.
