e-Bulletin is Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth’s electronic newsletter to communicate news and information from the Diocese, its departments and its ministries to diocesan, parish and school employees as well as select volunteers. Diocesan department directors are responsible for generating information for e-Bulletin and ensuring that the content is within diocesan rules and policies.

Benefits open enrollment went very smoothly this year, thanks to everyone for going on-line and completing your elections. If you made changes to your elections, your new premium deduction will be reflected on your paycheck on July 22, 2016. Christian Brothers will be sending out new cards only if you made a change to your elections, otherwise, you may continue using your current benefit cards.
Flexible Spending Account
Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) follow our fiscal year which means that you must have spent the amount you elected between July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 to use those dollars. You have up to 90 days from the closing date in which to submit all receipts for reimbursement.
If you elected Medical FSA for the first time for the 2016-2017 fiscal year, you will automatically be sent a debit card that can be used for all qualified medical expenses.

The St. John Paul II will hold its sixth annual commissioning this Sunday, June 26, 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 2255 N Bonnie Brae St. Denton. Approximately eighty women and men will receive certificates of completion in ministry formation from Bishop Michael Olson. The number includes twenty lay ministers who completed a special third-year ministry leadership program this past January.
The St. John Paul II Institute (JP2) of the Diocese of Fort Worth conducts classes in both English and Spanish. New classes in English will begin this September at St. Andrew Church in south Forth Worth and at Immaculate Conception Church in Denton. Please contact for more information.
El Instituto San Juan Pablo II tendrá su sexto “graduación” este domingo, el 26 de junio, a las 7 p.m. en la Iglesia Inmaculada Concepción, 2255 N. Bonnie Brae St.,Denton. Aproximadamente ochenta personas recibirán certificados de cumplimiento en el la formación de ministros de las manos del Monseñor Miguel Olson. El número incluye a veinte ministros laicales que cumplieron un programa especial de liderazgo en ministerio en enero.

The Fort Worth Diocesan Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics, other sexual minorities, their families and friends will not hold their monthly meeting of prayer and conversation the month of June. The next meeting will be held the fourth Thursday of July, July 28. The location of the meeting will be announced at a later time. For additional information, contact Fr. At the recent Catholic Media Convocation in St. Louis, June 1-3, the North Texas Catholic was recognized by the Catholic Press Association with 12 awards.
The Knights of Columbus 21st Annual Priest & Religious Appreciation Dinner will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Grapevine. Quo Vadis? is a Vocation Discernment Retreat for High School Young Men to begin considering their vocation from God by hanging out with priests and seminarians! It will be a spiritually awesome weekend. Venue will be at Lone Oak Retreat Center in Gainesville beginning on July 6, 2016 10:00AM. Parents are welcome to join for Mass and closing of the retreat on July 8, 2016 from 5:00PM- 7:00PM. Space is limited to the first 20 high school young men to register. This event is FREE and open to all high school girls (9th-12th grade for the 2016-2017 school year) who want to learn about the religious life, discerning their vocation to religious life, or simply want to be open to God’s will in their life. The girls will have the chance to interact with the following groups: Carmelite Nuns, Dominican Sisters, Sisters of Mary of Namur, Kingdom of God Sisters, & the Hermanas Catequistas Guadalupans. All women (15 and older) discerning their vocation to the Religious Life are invited to join Bishop Olson for the Marian Dinner & Mass on Monday, August 15 from 6-8:30 p.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, in Lewisville.
The Marian Dinner & Mass is hosted by the Vocation’s Office for women discerning their vocation to Religious Life. The evening will begin with Mass celebrated by Bishop Olson at 6 p.m. in the Church, followed by dinner and discussion among the women discerning their vocation and Sisters from different Religious Orders.
