40 Days for Life Campaign

September 28 to November 6, 2016

The peaceful, prayerful presence outside of Planned Parenthood is the most visible aspect of the 40 Days for Life campaign. Volunteers will stand outside of Planned Parenthood 24 hours a day for 40 days praying for an end to abortion and for more awareness of the tragedy of abortion. 40 Days for Life is made up of three components:

  • Prayer and Fasting
  • Peaceful Vigil
  • Community Outreach

World Youth Day, North Texas

November 6, 2016

World Youth Day North TexasWorld youth Day, North Texas is a one day event sponsored by the Diocese of Fort Worth on Sunday, November 6, 2016. The day begins with Mass celebrated by Bishop Michael F. Olson. This special day is set aside for youth to enjoy along with other youth from our Diocese. There will be many games, activities, food trucks and much more. In the evening there will be performances by Fr. Pontifex and Audrey Assad. The event will be held at Levitt Pavilion in Arlington. We are accepting exhibitors and vendors this year.

All individuals must contact their parish leader to register. Parish leaders should contact the office of Youth Ministry to register.

Lock-In for Life

November 12-13, 2016

Lock-In for Life is an overnight event where teens (8-12th grade) experience amazing pro-life talks, all night fun, and celebrating the gift of life with youth from all over the diocese. The Lock-In also includes music, pizza, snacks and drinks, sporting tournaments, prayer time, a live sonogram! This year's event will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Arlington.

If you plan on attending please register with your Youth Minister or cleared Chaperone by November 2nd. Teens: Please make your checks out to your church and NOT the diocese.
