e-Bulletin is Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth’s electronic newsletter to communicate news and information from the Diocese, its departments and its ministries to diocesan, parish and school employees as well as select volunteers. Diocesan department directors are responsible for generating information for e-Bulletin and ensuring that the content is within diocesan rules and policies.

The Deaf Ministry Program will be offering religious education classes for deaf and hard of hearing students this Fall at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8 pm starting September 14, 2016. The Knights of Columbus 21st Annual Priest & Religious Appreciation Dinner will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Grapevine. Social begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 7 p.m. All Clergy and Religious are invited and asked to RSVP to Pat Henz at 817-478-4540 or email at . Courage, an Apostolate of the Diocese of Fort Worth will be sponsoring a dinner and talk titled, “Welcoming and Accompanying Our Brothers and Sisters Who Experience Same Sex Attraction: Living Out Our Universal Call to Chasity and Speaking Truth in Love”. The event will feature Associate Director of Courage, Fr. Philip Bochanski on Thursday August, 11 starting at 6:30 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 South Jupiter Rd. Richardson, TX. Reservations are needed for the dinner. Please rsvp to so that we may prepare the proper number of seats and dinners. $7 for dinner -- you may pay at the door.
This event is FREE and open to all high school girls (9th-12th grade for the 2016-2017 school year) who want to learn about the religious life, discerning their vocation to religious life, or simply want to be open to God’s will in their life. The girls will have the chance to interact with the following groups: Carmelite Nuns, Dominican Sisters, Sisters of Mary of Namur, Kingdom of God Sisters, & the Hermanas Catequistas Guadalupans. All women (15 and older) discerning their vocation to the Religious Life are invited to join Bishop Olson for the Marian Dinner & Mass on Monday, August 15 from 6-8:30 p.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, in Lewisville.
The Marian Dinner & Mass is hosted by the Vocation’s Office for women discerning their vocation to Religious Life. The evening will begin with Mass celebrated by Bishop Olson at 6 p.m. in the Church, followed by dinner and discussion among the women discerning their vocation and Sisters from different Religious Orders.
